Friend of Mackay Website
The website is ultra responsive, retina ready, and built on the Twitter Bootstrap framework. It features a clean, modern and interesting design that condenses a lot of information on the site’s homepage. The website facilitates online donor contribution via integration with PayPal and also promotes the organizations Facebook page via a pop-up modal delivered on the homepage.
The homepage spotlights the rink’s generous sponsors by promoting the donor’s logos that hyperlink to their respective websites, outlines the facility’s service offering, displays recent news and press clippings in a horizontal slider and features a horizontal video-gallery slider that broadcasts videos related to the arena’s connection with the New York Rangers organization.
Task
Redesign of website for Friends of John T. Wright Arena, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to help improve the facility of an Englewood based municipal ice skating rink and to ensure programming that serves the City’s residents.
